Adhesive for attaching side vent

I broke the frame of the plastic side fridge vent cover and now have to replace it. It just occurred to me that the self-leveling stuff I have from when I installed the roof vent would probably not be very smart on a vertical surface! :) What kind of adhesive/sealant should be used?

Depending on how bad the break is, you could just use a bead of good caulk over it.
If it's is on the frame, the frame is screwed to the coach, so the caulk would work in that situation.
Or replace the frame with a new one.

If you're still looking for a caulk, I've had good results with the BOSS 378 caulk on vertical surfaces on my rig. It's sold in RV parts stores.

Butyl putty tape is applied under the lip of the vent and then screwed to the coach, after tightening, the excess is removed and a good caulk applied.
