Furnace produces "dusty or smoky look" in air

We have a new 2014 KeyLargo. We are in the desert for the winter and have been using the
furnace to take the chill off in the mornings. We notice a smoky or dusty appearance in the interior of the fifth wheel when the furnace comes on. This can be seen when the sunlight shines through the windows. It does have a bit of a "new furnace" smell to it, but we have used it many times and it still hasn't disappeared. If you turn on the fantastic fan, it sucks it out. Has anyone had this same problem? Thanks so much for any help.

My thoughts are everything is normal and this is only dirty air that is circulating. The suction for the furnace circulation air comes from the basement where the furnace is located; with no air inlet filter (like in our houses) any dust gets sucked right in and circulated out the vents in the coach. Secondarily, increased air movement in the coach disturbs any dust/small particles that have settled onto surfaces. In the case of the furnace air ducts, the air may blow into areas that dust has settled for a while. If this is a big concern, a stand alone air filter will help remove dusts (especially if you are in the desert) and help clean up the air. Hope this helps,Brian
