Cooktop burner valves

I posted this on RV.Net but figured would also ask the question here.
We have a Magic Chef/Whirlpool oven/cooktop(CLY1620BDB) in our 5r. The front burner is a "high speed" valve that turns counterclockwise first to light and continues in the counterclockwise direction to low. The two rear burners the valve turns all the way counterclockwise to light than the opposite direction (clockwise) to low and subsequently off. It is very easy to turn the burner off when trying to adjust to the lowest flame level.

I am considering replacing the valves(and knobs) on the two back burners to operate the same as the front burner. For no other reason than I would prefer the operation be the same for all three and I like the function of the front high speed burner.

Has anyone done this or know someone that has? Opinions?

We have the same set up and have had it in previous campers with the same stove top. We get used to it.

We given thought to that TV ad for the induction portable units. Haven't done it yet though, I prefer LP or Natural gas to electric stove tops so I don't know how we would like the induction method.
