tire upgrade

Wanting to change my tires on sundance 3270res from towmax 235/80/16 to Goodrich commercial t/a 235/85/16. it appears I have about 2 1/2 inches between tires. has anyone gone with the slightly taller tire? if so were there any problems

Hi gdweb,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. The 235/85 should be about 1/2" higher so you'll lose 1" of the current clearance. I'd suggest checking the actual weight capacity of the Goodrich to make sure it's rated for the weight on your axles.

No problem. Go for it because the tires will be so much better than what you have now.

I did this exact tires on my Sundance and am very satisfied. They have a rating of 3045 at 80psi. I have CAT scaled mine and have about 9400 lbs on the axles. You have plenty of capacity.
