Great location!! Ruidoso has great food and shopping, as well. Lots of history in the area, too! Just don't miss your turn for the campground. This road is narrow with not much shoulder, and ultimately becomes a series of switchbacks and hairpin turns leading up to Ski Apache....!

Interesting area. I once went to Ruidosa Downs Racetrack when I was stationed at Alamagordo back in 1971.
