Can our Landmark handle 15 amp hookup?

We are going to a fairgrounds rally and they said 15 amp electric. We have a Landmark and always used 50 amp or 30 amp. Will our rig handle a 15 amp connection and do we just buy a 50 amp to 15 amp connector at the RV store? Reply asap. Thanks all.

You can use a 15A service but you will be limited in which appliances you can use simultaneously. You will need an adapter 50 to 30 amp (a useful adaptor anyway) and a 30A to 15A adapter (again useful if you plug into a friend's house, etc). Both are available at RV stores and WalMart.

With the 15 Amp connection, you need to run everything you can on propane, Hot water heater, stove, refrigerator, furnace. Use 12 volt lamps instead of 120 volt lamps because the 15 amp won't run much besides a TV and coffee maker at the same time. Your microwave is questionable, depending on it's size and how much current you actually have at your hook up. Some of the 15 Amps, if they are heavily used, aren't 15 Amps. I've seen them as low as 11 or 12.

I have done it for several weeks on 15 but had to do a lot of turning on and off to balance the load.
