TPMS sensor sealing device insertion special tool, part number OU812

Well that might be a bit of a stretch.

The TST sensors have a small rubber disc seal inside the valve stem part. Every time you remove the sensor you should check that rubber disc to make sure it is seated. I have seen it not move, come part way out, come part way out only on one side and, get stuck to the trucks valve stem.

I use a piece of 1/4" air line scrap to reseat the disc. Perfect size and cheap.

So, that said, I cut up a piece of airline and will keep some in my truck.

Free for the asking at a rally near you (well, near for the north east at least).

Thanks Duane, I also carry a dental pick tool to help pick out the o-ring when it sticks in the valve stem. I have used a lock pick tool (blunt end) to help re-seat the o-ring back in the sensor stem. I will go find an old 1/4 air hose - thanks for the tip.

Brian,

What did you use the "lock pick tool" for prior to working on O rings? Is this why you can full time now?
