Additional Info:
------------------------------
People were so happy with the 2014 rally events and the accommodations made by the park for our group, that we are going back in 2015. It is a couple of weeks later in July so maybe we will get a little less wind, but don't hold your breath for that. It is still the Oregon coast after all.

Please DO NOT call the RV Park directly for reservations. Choose option #3 when you call and use the general reservation desk. Be sure to tell them that you need to be put into the Heartland Rally Reservation Block for July 2015. We are working to try to improve our site assignments for 2015. Hopefully our plan works. Amy and Barb (our event planners) are going to really try to make that happen.

*****Please remember that requesting a specific kind of site could separate you from the group. Also, we have no control over other guests who are in our block long term or who have requested a site that is in our block.

We will be in site 25 next to our complementary rally site #26. No other site numbers will be assigned before check-in.

Thursday July 23rd. Super site in front of the Yurt. Henderson's Lineup presentation and weighing for those who have signed up in advance. Suspension inspections will be done free of charge as time permits.

Tentative Schedule:

Friday July 24th
Noon until ? Check-in site 26.
Pick up rally bag, tee shirts if purchased, and current information. Light snacks and some beverages will be available. Bring your chairs and help us greet people as they check in.

There will also be a signup for volunteering with chores.

No host group dinner at a local pizzeria. Time and location to be determined. It is not required, so those who wish to do something else for dinner can join us at the campfire afterward, but we hope everyone likes this idea. I will order shuttles to pizza so we don't all have to drive. There isn't that much parking down there.

There will be a campfire in site 26 after dinner. Come on over for more social time. There might even be some desserts.

I will put a complete schedule in your registration packet that you will pick up Friday afternoon.

Saturday July 25th
8:30 - 9:30 or so in site 26
Coffee, fruit, and breads. Please bring your new, unwrapped raffle prize ($15-$20) to turn in. Our prize decoration crew will collect them at this time.

Raffle tickets go on sale $1 each or 6 for $5.

9:30 - 3:30 On your own for small group activities and touristy kinds of stuff. Check with us or the Park desk if you need ideas.

3:30- 4:45 Yurt Wine and Cheese Reception provided by SkyMed. They will provide information on their services to those interested.

6:00 PM Yurt Potluck dinner followed by raffle prize drawing. Tri-tip and BBQ Chicken will be provided by George M. Sutton RV of Eugene!

Last Name A-L bring salad or veggie.
Last Name M-Z bring dessert.

Please bring enough to feed 10-12 people with your dish. We will have about 60-65 people to feed all together.

Mark and I will be providing dinner rolls and butter.

There is not enough room for everyone to sit inside the yurt. We will have tables set up outside as well. We will just have to get cozy for the raffle. ;)

Sunday July 26th
8:00 - 9:30 or so in the Yurt we will have our Rally send-off breakfast. Take yours to go if you have to hit the road that early.

Here is my information so far:

The Beletti's are registered at the hotel.

Please review the chart and see if I have everything for you and that what I have is correct.

The cost of weighing will be paid to Henderson's Lineup at the weigh site.

We haven't even left The Mill after the 2014 rally and we are already planning 2015! Give us a few days to turn in the contract because the reservation desk doesn't know anything about this rally right now. I will get the contract in the mail while we are at the WA rally this week.

UPDATE: They are ready for us! Just be sure to follow the directions so they put you in our block.

I know lots of people have already asked us about next year because they want to start making their plans to come back to Oregon. Rod, Kelly, Mark and I have decided to reverse the order of the WA and OR rallies for 2015 but keep them planned to run back to back. We are not currently planning on including the OR RV Jamboree like we did in 2014. Those dates have not been chosen so who knows how that will work out.

Anyway we will do WA July 17-19 and OR July 24-26 with a caravan between the two. Those plans will be announced a little later so people can make their reservations for the mid-point stop between the two rallies.

That's all for now!

I have been told that everything is set up for us to make reservations. Just be sure to talk to the general reservation desk instead of the RV park and tell them you want to be in the Heartland site block for the rally site rate.

Mark. Rod, Kelly and I have already been talking about activities for next year.

We are planning a caravan between the WA rally (7/17-7/19) and our rally. We will be leaving WA on 7/20 to stop at Gresham,OR at Fairview RV Park for 3 nights. There are a lot of things to do and see in that area. Then on to North Bend and our rally. Rod from WA is making these arrangements and will announce the details when he gets them worked out with the park. It sounds like the park is making Rod collect the camping fee in advance, so keep an eye out for that announcement.

We will finish the 2014 Rally Series today with breakfast at the WA rally and will start looking forward to the Oregon Campout at Casey's in October. In the coming weeks and months we will do some polling and planning to see what kind of things people want to do during our rallies next year.

Take Care,

Kristy

Kristy,
We made our reservations at the Mill RV Park for July 23 - Aug 18 before I read this thread but I told them we would be with the Heartland group for the rally so we should be put with the group. We also have our reservations for the whole Washington-Oregon rally/caravan so we won't miss a thing next year.

Glad to hear it Jack and Bev. Lots of us will be getting there all at the same time on the 23rd if the rumor is true!

We will probably stay until the 28th or 29th before heading on to our as of yet undetermined next stop.

So many people who came to WA this year say they will be coming to OR next year, we could have a nice big group.

Hey there Bill,

Hopefully you can join us up in Washington a week prior for the Washington Rally. We would love to have you join us and caravan down to Oregon with the group.

We will arrive with the WA caravan on the 23rd and depart on the 27th. If there is an ocean fishing trip, Doug will want to go. Doris will be happy to explore antiques or other stores with non-fishers.

OK the list is caught up.

Bob and Kim - Do you plan to come with the caravan? What dates are you staying and when do you check out?

Its good to see these early reservations. If the park sees lots of early interest, it makes them more willing to grant concessions for us that will let us do things our way..

We are arriving on Friday the 17th and leaving on Monday or Tuesday. We aren't going to caravan. We will be at the Washington rally, but will be going home and working between. It's a pretty long drive to Mill Casino, so we will probably arrive on Friday around 5pm. I hope you can get the park to give you the support you need.
