Pay attention if you decide to go to this campground, there are many sites that back directly up to Interstate 40. The noise is the loudest of any campground we have visited, some of the sites view is the back of an apartment building. Pricing is way to high for this campground. Campers beware! Sitting outside at anytime you can't even talk for the noise from the interstate. Some of the sites actually front on Bear Creek Road, a buy 2 lane road that the front of your rig is literally feet from the road.

When we had the campers under 36', we camped there many times. We always got up on the left side of the hill from the office and didn't have any real problems. I would not get any of the sites on the right side because of the steep grade backing in. Now I would not get any of the sites on the hill with our 41' Landmark because the camper is too long for a) the length of the sites; b) the narrowness of the road making it difficult to back in. They do have the pull thru area that is flat and paved but narrow between sites in that it used to be a parking lot.
