I mentioned in another thread that my wife and I removed our dining room table. We now use the 2 folding chairs and the narrow cabinet top that comes with the exterior TV option as a breakfast bar. It gives us alot more space and we were able to put the 2 fixed dining chairs in storage in our home.
It wouldn't be a hard DIY job or a expensive one to have someone replace the "cardboard" with a quality wood base, new foam and material.
On a related note I am currently reinforcing select drawer bottoms in our new Key Largo for durability. I recall reading that Heartland may be using solid bottom material in the new 365. In my opinion that is a must in units of this quality.
