Who remember "Princess Kathleen" and her painted Landmark?

As I recall, the work was done by a painter friend, and they probably did some of the work themselves. Of course, I've slept since then and I may not remember everything exactly. It's been a long time since PK was active here.

Wasn't she from Louisiana. I vaguely remember the trailer and thought it was unique

Jay has it right - it was a friend of theirs who hand painted using automotive paint. Some may remember Vance and Kathleen had an accident that required a new or repaired rear cap. They then had their friend repaint the cap. If I recall correctly, it was s large brick pattern.

Last I spoke to Vance was maybe 3 years back and we were able to get him to an Arkansas rally. No one on the forum that I'm aware of has heard from him since. He was still in a funk when I chatted with him. He was living in the RV on a site at a gravel pit owned by his family. Hope he's well.

Kathy - thanks for posting the FB link. I'll head there now and check it out :)

PS: Found a post that discusses how they did the paint job (LINK).
