Front cap clearance light

Based on how my front cap lights are mounted, you'll have to gently pry it out. The rubber seal holds it in place. This is what the cap looks like from the rear. I doubt they do much more than punch a hole to pass the wires through to the back of the lights.

Mine also come out from the front as an entire unit. I've had to replace two of them over the years. Not real difficult, just pry them out gently with a regular screw drive, but be very careful not to break them, plastic you know!

Got the light out from the outside but no light socket connected. Looks like it has fallen out inside the cap. Going to have to pull apart the closet to get to the wiring.

Had that happen on mine and they just pulled the light next to it and connected new wires and fished it over to the one that was out. May be easier than tearing out your closet.
