Need New Propane Lines

I bought 2 guages for our propane tanks but I have a problem when I attached them to the tanks it made the lines protrude out too much and the door wouldn't close. So, to make them work I need to rotate the tanks so the guages face forward and the other aft but when I do this the lines from the regulator isn't long enough they need to be about 6" longer to prevent them from kinking. Can you buy these already made up at a longer length or do you think my local propane dealer could make them up for me? Anyone ever done this?

Most home stores that sell gas grills carry them. I had to change one of mine to accommodate a "T" for an extension hose for my grill. Otherwise, your local RV dealer should have them as well.
