Camping in Kingston Ontario

Very nice setting. I had a couple of buddies (Canadian Army) that I trained in the sixties that were stationed in Kingston. That is a nice area and there are a lot of little lakes in the area. My uncles built my grandmother a cottage on Beaver Lake near Tamsworth,ON (about 50 miles from Kingston) in the early fifties and that is where all my cousins, siblings and I would spend our summers. Very fond memories.

We recently stayed in Kingston - but we stayed at the KOA. One of the nicest, cleanest and best run KOAs I've stayed at. In contrast, I had stayed at Rideau Acres a couple of years ago and was not impressed.

We had a 16ft fishing boat behind our Road Warrior, fishing was the priority, right on the water, no complaints
