Does Rally Posts Cause Longer Downloading?

I have noticed that when the system was changed, the time to get into the forum was pretty quick - less than before the change.

Most of the time lately, the forum takes quite a bit longer. It seems that when the Branson rally is one of the posts, it takes a long time for everything to come up, and again, when going into that particular post, it also takes time.

However, when the rally post is not one of the unread posts, everything works rapidly.

Have others noticed this? I am using IE (still) and run XP with SP 2.

I agree. I'm using Firefox, XP Home with SP2. It seems that when RegOnline loads, it slows the Forum loading. I understand that because we use the NRRS reservation system and that is really SLOOOOOOOWWW. But the other side of RegOnline is, WOW, look at the convenience of doing it without having to "Press 1 for English".

I did find out that when I get into the Rally thread and immediately press the "view first unread", it doesn't take too long. Then, when I exit, I immediately press the back arrow twice and that speeds up the process somewhat.
