ATF: North Trail - holding tanks

I just bought a fx23 north trail travel trailer and I want to know is how big are all the holding tanks black grey potable its a 2012. al snape

Congratulations on your new-to-you North Trail and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

All of the current North Trail units have 36 or 37 gallon tanks. The NADA Specs page on the FX23 shows the 2012 also has 36/37 gallon tanks.

Holding Tanks
Fresh Water Capacity (gal / L): 36 / 136.3
Gray Water Capacity (gal / L): 37 / 140.1
Black Water Capacity (gal / L): 37 / 140.1
Propane Capacity (gal / lbs): 9.4 / 40
Water Heater Tank (gal / L): 6 / 22.7

I've moved the thread out of the North Country area and into the North Trail area.

The 2010 and 2013 North Trail brochures that I have both indicate 36 FW and 37 Gray/Black Gallon tanks for all of the Travel Trailers. So the 2012 info that Dan posted is accurate for the 2012 models too.

Yes, but if Heartland follows industry standards that 36 gallon fresh water INCLUDES the 6-gallon water heater. So you really have a 30-gallon tank.
