I have a 2009 Northtrail 28RLS. After the recent cold(0degF) I was checking the interior and found that the vinyl floor had split diagonally from the front corner under the slideout to the front corner of the bathroom wall. It was ok about 3wks ago. Any ideas on what caused it or has anyone else experienced the same.

Hi hawkeye47,

Sorry to hear about the vinyl flooring. It seems to me that someone else reported something like this a year or two ago. Perhaps they'll see this thread and comment on how they fixed theirs.

This might possibly be useful, if the edges can be matched back up.

Had the same thing happen to my old 2001 Cougar fifth wheel. We had it in winter storage and in the spring found the kitchen vinyl floor split down the middle. It had been really cold that winter and obviously the vinyl had gotten brittle. With the high winds causing the camper to flex the vinyl floor split. The man who replaced our floor said he had at least a dozen other RVs with the same problem locally.
