This may be a dumb question but we can't find the answer - so here goes...
We noticed that the view through the glass microwave door seemed real cloudy. It wasn't condensation but we found that there is a thick plastic covering on the inside of the glass window. We started to remove it - thinking it was for packing and should be removed - however our concern is that if we take this off, food could potentially get caught between the glass and the black "honeycomb" covering. So the question is, should this plastic protection cover be removed or left on? If removed, has anyone had problems with food getting caught between the glass and "honeycomb" cover?
