We had been In our new Landmark for about a month and a half, and thought it was strange that our smoke detectors never went off when we cooked. I mean usually any little amount of smoke would trigger one.
Anyway I was checking the galley and bedroom Detectors and found that the plastic strip was between the battery posts and the detectors connection. Once pulled out tthey are activated, so if you haven't already done that you better check it out. Just saying
