My 2007 Sundance 2900RK came new with loud groans and squeaks when the super slide is operated. It has been adjusted twice during warranty period and nothing changed. One tech said the problem is dry bearings too deep inside to get to without dismantling major components, which they were unwilling to do.
I'm wondering how common is this and does it constitute a significant likelihood of major problems down the road?
I guess we're getting used to the noise because I was surprised when a slide in another unit operated quietly. There are a couple of places where the floor squeaks and the doors sound like they are out of a horror movie, so we may be getting used to noise.
