I think I found the perfect way to carry your rifles in the RV as you travel.

Or you can carry them in cases under the bed!!

I don't carry them, but I would think about this, if I did.

There is a furniture builder here in Jersey that specializes in hidden firearm access furniture.
I have seen his stuff and he is quite the wood worker. And, given what the items are, not too expensive considering the semi custom craftsmanship.

Hi all

we found a company in VA that makes all types of gun concealment cabinets. They are called Tactical Wall and do custom work as well. We met them last year at a campground and they seemed to be great people. Look them up and yes it is ALL MADE IN THE USA.

We were looking for a rig......salesman showed us the dinning table where normal people store games etc......turned to me and said "good place to store your handguns!"
Little did he know that I do indeed have CCW permits in 27 states, even in NY.
My wife looked at me, how did he know. He didn't, just a comment that was close to home:cool:

Sorry, but I'm not publicly sharing where I may, or may not, store any long guns or handguns in the RV. Some thieves are getting smarter. Look around your RV or home. Be creative. You don't have to spend a lot of money on new furniture.

Gee Dave, could you at least share where you hide your money?

I bought a light weight safe from the PX that fits in the closet. I placed it horizontally on the floor and used a few screws to keep it from shifting. Is it proof from determined thieves? Nope but it is far better than under the bed, in a cabinet, behind furniture etc etc.

In my backpack...where it falls out on the counter at the bank(yes it was safe and in a holster)!...😯

Teller looks n says "nice kimber"....True Story from last week in good ol wild west texas..
...thank god they all know me as a regular!!!

That said I keep an AR in the trailer while I peruse the wild highways. ...it's in a place I can get to it easily if/ when needed....I don't care about theft as much as I do about access ...what good is a weapon locked and hidden requiring 5min to engage a potential threat...I'd sleep with it if the wife let me....if you have ever needed a weapon in a life or death situation or had others who would like to see you buried you understand ...hopefully It never gets stolen nor used in a threat situation. ...because if I've had to go to the long gun, it's a bad bad day already. ...

If you put a "Gun Free Zone" sign on your abode and then shoot a home invader, does that constitute entrapment?

These days, yes that would be entrapment. But, on the positive side there would be one less bandit, I prefer the positive side.

If the invader is shot in a gun free Zone/abode and the sign is removed immediatley after does it make a sound? .lol....

I like that, now where to get them?

And a quote found while looking for the signs;

No "Law" has ever stopped a crime, "Firearms" have.

It was given to me by a gun shop owner down the street from us..not sure where he got em but that gives me a "legitimate" reason to swing by the shop and ask!! Lol

That is a cool sign...now to find one for Florida.
Somehow, "Trespassers will be shot, Survivors will be prosecuted!" is a little wordy for some.
"Never mind the dog, the owner is ARMED"
And they go on.
Sad that we've come to this point, but we do have to take some responsibility for our own well being, and those we love.
Carry on.

Google "Castle Law Signs" and you will find plenty, including Florida. Wonder what the response would be in one of those "No Gun" rv parks?

I would rather be alive to find out what they would say vs dead and beyond caring.

Anybody see the news about the 6 campers, adults and children who were killed a few days ago here in Texas?

Why say anything? I would rather not advertise one way or another. If you say you have guns then the crooks know where to get them. If you say you don't the crooks know where they can go in relative safety. It is kind of like putting a NRA sticker on you car. You let the car burglars know where guns are available. As for me I would rather keep them guessing.

Defense lawyers will advise that a cute/clever sign may just be enough to tilt a jury toward a conviction after you use your firearm. Prosecutors unsympathetic to your self-defense argument will use the sign to portray you as a gun nut who was just waiting to injure/kill someone.

Well...yeah...this is texas...it's my house......my defense is the law warned you....my sign warned you...you chose to violate my safety and rights....at that point the sign is moot...pew pew...we're all a bunch of crazy gun toting Republicans ya know?..lol...but seriously?

I made a custom fit gun safe in the RV that could fit a shotgun under the bed for easy access.
