battery problems

I have a 2008 cyclone 4012, wandering what stays on in the unit when generator is off and unit is running on the battery alone.. my battery seems to run down prematurely. We try to turn everything off even the fridge. but we can shut it down for a few hours and battery will not start generator.

I bet you have a bad battery or connections. Everything in your unit will run off 12volts other than the AC units,and in some units ceiling fan. I added a second battery in our 3795 so not to have those troubles. The number two battery is for gen set starting only that way we will never be out in the middle of no where and gen set not start.
