Ok so while outside talking to neighbour at campsite we noticed delamination in the middle of the top and bottom vents for the fridge. There is no water leak and could not find where any caulking needs to be replaced. Took the vent covers off and looked inside to see if we could find where any water may have made its way in but there is NO SIGN of water and all the chip board is dry as can be and not one sign of where water would have run.
What we find strange is that it is only happening directly behind the fridge, not to the left or right of it but directly between the top and bottom vents. The bubbling is in 2 places and are about 13 to 14 inches long and about 4 inches wide. We called Heartland and was told..Your out of warranty AND there has to be water intrusion. Ok we purchased the unit new in July of 2013 so its 6 months out of warranty and Don't you love it when they ASSUME its YOUR FAULT and there just has to be water intrusion.
Why cant a company say something a little nicer to a customer....like....Well your unit is out of warranty BUT if you take it to your dealer, and they find no water intrusion and its a defect then we will fix it...or work with you on a solution...GREAT...nice customer service but DONT assume its OUR fault and tell us to claim it on insurance.
When we get home It will be going to our dealer to be checked out. Pictures have already been sent to them and we will have it repaired at our cost but come on heartland...doesn't it some times happen that bad glue is used or not completely covering the area...after all these units are made by humans and we all have off days.

We really like our unit and praise Heartland for making such nice units and most problems we take care of ourselves and will continue to do so. All brands have problems and customers are not always happy but please be aware that not all problems are caused by the customers.
Just saying!
