Suspension Air Bags

ToyHauler

Hey all,

I've been doing some research and haven't found anything yet. There are places we take our camper that we need more ground clearance. A friend of mine had his toyhauler lifted about 3-4" and that has helped considerably getting into some spots. However his highway hauling seems to be suffering, as the overall height of the 5er is taller. So here's my idea.

Use two sets of suspension air bags, similiar to the ones I have mounted on the truck to level the back end. One set on the front trailer axle, the other on the rear trailer axle. Each bag could be filled up independently. This would provide two major benefits. First, I could raise up the trailer when we pull off the highway to add a few inches of clearance getting back into the woods. Second, once we park, I could use the bags to level the 5er out.

What do you guys and gals think? Anyone else tried this?
