3012RE vs. 3300SK?

We're now trying to decide between the Sundance 3012RE and the 3300SK. The price is the same, and several dealers we've spoken with really push the 3300 over the 3012. they say the slides are bigger and people like it better. they say the rear ent. center in the back of the 3012 is big and bulky and not everyone likes it.

Honestly, we have yet to step in either, but there are 250 miles between the closest dealers with these in stock, so we have to decide which might suit us better and drive to that dealer tomorrow.

thanks!

tazzy,
Not sure where in Kentucky you are but try looking at Best Buy RV. Maybe the are closer and have what you want to see. They have a place in Springfield Ohio and Richmond Indiana

tazzy,

I'd say that you guys need to decide what floor plan best suites your lifestyle. Then look at that one. Best of luck.

You need to look at both. We enjoy the open feeling and layout of the 3300SK, larger slides, easy to pull. Good luck with your purchase. Hope to see you in Branson.

We bought the 3012 RE and love the floorplan. It has a private enclosed bathroom and the whole camper feels very roomy. In addition, we love the fireplace and the fact that you can still enter the kitchen area on quick stops without extending the 3 slides.

3300SK Sundance

Hi Tazzy,
We bought a 3300SK in March and have been living in it since the last week of May. It's wonderful!!!!!

Yes, the private bathroom is great and we don't have to potty in a tiny closet type bathroom, which is even better.

We just came back from a two week trip to Colorado. Some of the camps that we stayed in overnight, we just pulled up, hooked up the elect and water... and didn't bother to put out the slides or unhook the truck.

With this floor plan it's so easy to get to half the couch, and one of the rocking chairs, the dining table and chairs, the icebox, stove, etc.

We've unscrewed the table and put two of the chairs into storage. This gave us more tummy and elbow room at the table. Since there are only two of us, it workes perfectly!

We are both soooooooooo glad that we picked this model. It gives us the freedom of not having to open the slides but still being able to stop in a road side park and fix something to eat or go to our own bathroom.

Yes, we can even take a nap if we want to........ just one of us has to crawl over the bed if the slide's not out.
