Terrific customer service from Atwood Fan-Tastic fan problem.

Jerry at customer service - couldn't ask for better expertise, communicating, attitude. Problem was fan didn't run but lid opened. Did some volt checks and determined the speed sensor was bad. First thought was the button switch on roof but I'd already checked that. He stressed that simply popping up doesn't mean it's making electrical contact (though that fixed it in the past). Remove, lubricate, reinstall.

Speed switch yellow wire is actually the feed for the PC board and only affects the lid. As long as you've voltage at jumper from fuse to switch - but not coming out on the red wire to the motor, then you have a bad switch. I simply proofed the whole deal by removing motor wire from switch and touching to the fuse wire (it worked). On/Off switch is on the ground side as is the button switch.

Have to give folks credit when they're so helpful. Had the same great experience with a Heartland tech, Dave McWilliams, and two guys at Dexter axles.
