Travel Soft rv1200 Water softener ??

I purchased a Travel soft rv1200 water softener on ebay. Does anyone have any experience with this softener?? It says to use solar salt or rock salt. I put water softener pellets in before I noticed it said on the label not to use pellets.

I can't seem to find a manual online. Any help would be appreciated.

I use the "RV on the GO" Softener system.

It uses one pound of Table salt to re-charge the unit...

I only unscrew the top... with the pressure off... then dump and allow it to clean the system... after flush the system... and it's good to go once again.
