Walking on the roof of a new 26RKS

We will hopefully be picking up or North Trail 26RKS in the next few weeks. Thanks to the good information in this forum, I now have an excellent PDI document to follow before I accept the unit.

If I want to climb up on the roof (I weight around 215lbs) to check things out, what would be the best procedure to do so? Can I walk directly on it or should I lay out some plywood sheets to help distribute the weight.

Many thanks

I have walked on my 280BH to install my vent covers and had no problems. It was walked on when the top of my slide was fixed at the dealer.

Thanks for the response!

I assumed it would be OK to walk directly on it based on the picture that has the ATV with the driver sitting on the roof. However, this is my first new TT and I really don't want mess anything up by doing something I shouldn't.

I was on the roof of our 28BHS to put on some MaxAir covers and had no problems. I also was on the roof to clean the slide top before we put it away for winter. I would assume from the brochure that it is safe to do so.
