While you guys are all having a ball up there at Camp Hale . . . I have been enjoying the week on jury duty . . . and at least one more day to go!

Tell us all about it when you get back home!

I know you will enjoy yourselves in the cool setting and temps there. We will be in hot humid Nebr at a family reunion. Wish we were there with you.

What a great time!! Temps were very comfortable both day & night. The views were awesome, fishing was fun and mosquitoes were few.
Some went into nearby Leadville for supplies and site-seeing, others went to Vail &/or Avon.
We gathered around a campfire several times and enjoyed Dutch oven desserts such as peach cobbler and apple pie.
I believe this will be a favorite spot for boon-docking/dry camping:)

Sounds like we missed a good one!

We love Camp Hale!

We used to go there a lot back in our tent camping days and have only been there twice since we started trailering.

It has been about 10 years since the last time we were there, but we'll have to change that!

Yep - could have asked for better weather! Just a gorgeous week. Plenty of wildflowers to ogle. Fishing was very good - nothing beats a few fresh caught trout - and pan fried that evening! Yummy!

Here's a few photos I captured before everybody left.
