NC registration renewal on 5th wheel - inspection needed?

I just got a new BC 4010RD and received my registration and plate from the NC DMV. I was shocked to see an inspection due date on the registration just like I have for my cars. I have other utility trailers up to 7K GVWR and none of those have any inspection requirement. Are any others from NC on here that can help me understand if this is right or perhaps a DMV screw up. I am not sure where I'd even take this thing for inspection, my normal place wouldn't even be able to get me in the parking lot

In 3 years of ownership in NC, I have never seen one on a towable. I have seen them on a Motorhome. Check the registration to see if as trailer? If so, I would say it's a mistake.

ive had 5th wheels in NC for about 20yrs and never had to have inspection. I suspect a mistake on our lovely DMV part.

I am with the others. Check for a mistake on they type.
