Pictures for Greystone Fireplace Light Replacement

In preparation for colder weather (wishful thinking), I just removed the fireplace to clean out dust and took pictures on how to access the light bulbs for replacement. Note, only the small panel has to be removed to replace the lights.

Remove the molding around the fireplace to access the four retaining screws. My fireplace trim is molded foam, even though it looks like wood, so it's very easy to remove and reinstall.

Pull out the fireplace and remove the three retaining screws from the lower panel.

I think I used 40 watt and the they are the type that are a little wider at the base and taper down to a rounded in (like a big old time Xmas light). Yeah I just looked at his pic and it shows the type of bulb and has 40 watt printed right below the lights.
