Converter replacement - brands and comparisons sought

By the sounds of it I may be in the look for a new converter possibly in the next camping season (or end of year if it deems its work has been done.)

has anyone replaced theirs and with what?
and why did you choose the model you replaced your old one with?

Are you on shore power (seasonal camping lot) or do you often hit the road and use battery power?

I came across this unit and site which offers a 3 yr warranty on the unit linked here.

SOOOOooooo. any suggestions. I for now have time to look around.

Thanks

A great many people replace the converter with an inverter/charger. This still provides 12DV and charged the batteries and has the added function of providing 120V AC 2hen not connected to shore power or running the generator

To run the inverter a long time you may need to get more battery capacity.

Converters only provide 12V DC from the 120V AC.
