3200ES leak from couch/dining table slideout

On recent trip with slides in traveling during rain storm or even on wet covered highways, water came into unit from bottom of slide in the couch/dining table area. (unit stays completely dry while parked with slides extended) so gather it is not a seal problem around top of slide. There was enough water that we had to squeegie the rug to get all water out of unit. The rug had become so saturated that the water was even running onto the main floor area. The water was definitely coming from bottom of slide and as this is right above the wheels, we are wondering if there is something missing under the slide to prevent the water from coming in. Could the factory have omitted some part in construction of unit? Upon checking further, you can actually see daylight at bottom end of slide. Has anyone encountered any problems like this? Any feedback would be welcome. The dealer we bought from has since closed and as the unit is only 6 months old, we are trying to find another dealer in area to take unit in so that this problem can be corrected.
Tks. for any information that can be provided.

It is possible that the slide room itself needs to be adjusted. If you need assistance in finding another dealer or a service center that can do this work, consider calling Heartland Customer Service today at 877-262-8032 and they can help find you a shop.

I just bought a one year old 3200ES and was told by the previous owner he had this same problem. He stuffed some kind of filler wrapped in plastic to stop it because he also could not get it fixed. Obviously this is not an isolated issue.
