EMS-PT50C does it work for 30 amp or 50 amp detection/protection?

I have the above EMS from Progressive and just wondering if they are supposed to work for 30 amp if they are made for 50? I know you can't go up from 30 to 50 but can you go down from 50 to 30? if you show up in a park with only 30 amp service (I'm going to try to find another one) but realistically you're going to find one. Is this 50 supposed to also work if plugged in with a 30 amp cord adapter?

I've check their web site and FAQ's, etc., and can't find anything that covers this point.

thanks always !!!

I would say that the EMS 50C is "downward compatible" in 120 volt electrical current connections.

Yes the EMS will work on a 30A circuit and it will also work if you plug into a drop cord (with the adapter) from a 120v house outlet. I've done this a few times to power the to keep the battery charged when not using the coach.
