De-winterizing ...

I had my Sundance 2800RLS winterized by the dealer. I just couldn't find the time to do it myself.

Now it's time to bring the beast out of hibernation, but I've never done so. My motorhomes were all stored in heated storage so I never had to winterize them per-se. I just emptied the water tanks, turned on the water pump until I had no water flow to drain the lines and walked away.

Is there an existing checklist or published procedure that I can use? What are the "gotchas" ???

Thanks ... Steve

Flush out the fresh water tank and put in about a quarter cup of bleach and fill up and let sit for several hours. Then drain and re-flush.
Make sure you close the bypass valves to the water heater. Hook up to water and open the hot side and make sure the water heater fills up before turning it on to heat. You should be good to go.
