ELKHART, Ind. -- Heartland Recreational Vehicles announces the opening of a new 80,000-square-foot travel trailer manufacturing facility in Elkhart, Ind. The North Country line of entry-level and extended-stay travel trailers will begin production today. Heartland RVs expects to add more than 80 new employees to staff this new plant to achieve a sustainable rate of production while maintaining quality.
Heartland welcomes the addition of Brad Whitehead as Division Manager of the new North Country line of entry-level and extended-stay travel trailers. Whitehead comes to Heartland RVs with more than two decades of experience. He looks forward to introducing the North Country line to dealers and consumers nationwide.
North Country offers fourteen floorplans featuring many new innovations and residential amenities. Exterior features include an aerodynamic radius front profile for improved mileage and towing, graphics, radius skirt metal and matching door trim. Inside features include 7-foot ceilings, hardwood cabinet doors, steel ball bearing drawer hardware and abundant storage accessible from inside and out.
