SOLVED: Atwood Stove Pilot Light TOO BIG!

We have an Atwood stove (Wedgewood Vision) and the oven pilot light is way to big! My wife lit it this morning and the flame from the pilot is huge and mostly yellow in color. When we lit the burner it was fine and burned with a nice blue flame but the pilot flame was still very large and again mostly yellow. Is there an adjustment for this or should I just get an LP service tech to look at it?

I don't know if there is an air adjustment on the pilot, so it sounds like you may have a regulator problem.
I might want to call someone and have them check the pressure.
I believe that you need 11" water column. (A measure of gas delivery)
Just a thought.

Peace
Dave

We got-r-done! With the help of a really nice tech at Acres RV in Livingston, TX where we are right now. He didn't have time to check this out for us but told me over the phone to check for any dirt or residue that may have collected on the pilot tube. So, we took a paper towel wiped over the end and top of the tube and WA LA, lit the pilot and it now burns normal. Yeah, easy fix and it was so great of the tech to share his knowledge to take care of the issue.
