Thinking about modifying the dinette table to allow entrance to rear of coach when slides are in. This relative to being on the road and stopping for lunch along the road. Plenty of room in the back ,have to crawl under table to reach the couch and chairs. Would be interested if any one thought of this for their rig.

Depending on what floor plan you have you might be able to unscrew the table from the floor and turn it sideways.

This is our 2nd camper with a center island that could make it difficult to get to the back when the slide are in. No biggie, we just open the slide a little bit to get by.

x2. We generally do this when traveling and want to stop for lunch and rest a bit. The only problem with ours is that the bedroom slide goes out first before the kitchen side slide.

Since it is only DW and I, we unscrewed the table, turned it sideways and placed it up against the wall. I took out the 3rd and 4th chairs, leaving them at home. This allowed room to get by without needing to open the slide.

Our 2015 Prowler is the same way . . . can't get to the back of the trailer or into the fridge with the slides in!

Even if we changed out the dinette, we still wouldn't be able to get through to the back of the trailer!

Opening up one of the slides a few inches is our only option!

Glad that when our trailer is parked next to our house that we can open up all of our slides!

The fix . most reasonable modification.. Going to unscrew table from floor , turn sideways and recenter in space offered . Going to have a 12" by 36" oak extension made to extend width when slides are open. Turning table sideways gives you 12 " clearance when slide is closed. Should be able to have a comfortable seat to enjoy lunch when on the road. Thanks for all the ideas....
