CAPE COD in the FALL

This is a beautiful Venue - and this is also the first Heartland Rally to be held on Cape Cod! ( this is over the Bourne Bridge) You are minutes away from the Ferry to the Vineyard or Nantucket. a beautiful area full of unique shops and since we will be on the other side of the Labor Day weekend - it will be less crowded, but still early enough that most if not all of the shops will still be open. ( although on a shortened schedule )

Glenn and Sharon will be our official Guides since this is in their back yard!

We look forward to a great turn out - This fall.

It looks like a nice campground unfortunately we will not be able to attend due to the breed of our dogs. Have a great rally!

Hello Mass and New England Campers,

The Time has come to start planning for Fall Camping. We have not had any one commit to this Rally other than Glenn & Sharon and myself. If you are planning on getting out to enjoy the Cape this year, Fall is the arguably the best time to do it! Weather is still warm, water is still warm ( ok the water is never really warm ) and the crowds have gone back to college! We would love to start making plans for an excursion over to the Vineyard or Nantucket but first we need to see who is going.

Sites will be assigned in May or June And we will either be in the Blue or Red section. see attached site map. The Blue sights are more shaded than the Red. All of them are large ( deep ) enough to handle most rigs but we will make sure that the longest rigs get assigned the longest sites.

Please comment here if you are going to attend - what days - and call the resort to make your reservation.

We are signed up.
Arriving 9/20
Departing 9/25

So excited. Ginger is having anxiety about the trip though. First week vacation we have ever taken without Madison.

Can't wait to see the area.

Kevin - it's been a few years since we've been able to attend a Rally but since this one is in our backyard as well, we'll be there 9/23 - 9/26. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help coordinate it.

Labor day I could see, but this event is 3 weeks later. Mifflinberg was no deposit and the other two I did yesterday were for 1 day.

This is going to be their policy for every reservation starting in 2016. Not just holidays. I'm wandering if that is how the whole area is going to go. This was the largest campground on the area.

Just booked at a campground for LaborDay. They started the same policy at their campground. Pay in full at time of booking.

Wednesday night's stay at Harrisburg was paid at time of booking. Also our three nights here at Drummer Boys was charged to my card at booking....

When making your reservations, don't forget to ask for the Good Sam discount. We didn't at the time we made our reservation and while they wouldn't give us the 10% discount after the fact, they did agree to give us a credit at the campground's store equal to the discount....

Thanks for the follow up. We didn't ask for our Good Sam discount either. We'll have to call. Thanks

So it looks like will be coming into the MA rally a few days early. Any suggestions of things to do in the area?
