RV people are the best kind of people.

I didn't bring boards to level the North Trail. A kindly gentleman came over and gave my kids bread to feed the ducks and he gave me 6 leveling boards at no charge! RV people are the best!

A number of years ago, before I retired, driving time for vacations was a waste of valuable family time. I had just driven 16 straight hours to get to a state park campground at a SC beach, quickly setup our pop-up, grabbed a rod and headed for the surf to unwind. Soon, I landed a 24" sea bass. A gentleman approached and after telling me it was the nicest catch he'd seen in the two weeks he'd been there asked if I intended to enjoy it for dinner. I replied that I had just driven 16 hours to get here and was frankly too beat to even consider cleaning it. We chatted a few more minutes and I gave him the fish. He thanked me and walked away. About a half hour later he showed up at my site with a beautifully filleted bass, insisting that it was ours to enjoy. Campers ARE indeed wonderful people.
