Slide out 28RLS question

This may have been answered previously, but I can't find an answer. The manaul for the TT does not address the question of ...

"'how do I get the slide in when it won't slide in normally by electrical power?"

Is there a wrench I didn't receive? Is there a way to get the slide if the retracting mechanism won't work?

Yes, you should be able to retract manually if all else fails. You need to figure out where the motor is first. In my case, I have a 26RKS and the motor is located at the top of the slide right in the center. I have to take off the fascia to get to it. There are about 6 or so screws that have brown plastic covers over them. Once the fascia is off, as part of my owners kit / manuals, there is a silver flexible adapter provided that fits over the socket on the motor and turning that allows you to manually retract the slide. It's a pain but it does work

I can only thank this forum for making me aware of this and I had the techs show me how it was done as part of the PDI.

Good luck
Frank
