Separation of pin area

Our 2011 Rushmore is showing separation of the underneath pin area from the sidewall. The caulking has pulled away and letting underneath drop. This area is only held on by screws near the pin and shroud area. Our friends who have a 2014 Landmark are having the same problem. Any of you have this issue? What is the best fix ? image.jpg

2 possible things. Frame flex that happens when you load and unload the pin box area (hooking up and unhooking). Also water intrusion will cause this.

I would say its a water leak . I had some screws holding the cap down to the roof break off causing a gap letting water in. I would check the caulking on the cap roof seam , it doesn't take much water to warp the section you are showing.
