Have a unit that's about 4 yrs. old. Believe it has most recent firmware. Wondering if anyone knows if the text banner that displays across the top of the rearview camera screen can be eliminated? Thx.

What does the banner say? Is it being generated by the camera or the head-unit?

I didn't find anything useful via a quick scan of the manual - link

Sorry, it's a factory display "CAUTION-camera image may be reversed". I seemed to recall reading some time ago there was a method to ro remove it, but can't seem to find any info on it now. Thx.

The cam is a reverse - mirror model. The display is from the unit, not the cam

So I finally got around to calling Pioneer and the text cannot be eliminated, overwritten, or otherwise modified...at least not according to them. Just an FYI. Thx.
