Window Screens

Say Folks,I have a question....
Is it just me or does it seem odd that the screens
on my Bighorn 3055RL are on the inside of the window glass?
This is my first 5er and this just seems backwards to me.
Is this maybe to protect the screens from wind damage
while going down the highway at a high rate of speed?
thankz:)

Makes it nice to remove to clean the inside of the window also. I also removed my rear one for a better view. If I feel the need to open it it is easy to reinstall.

We have the dual pane windows. The screens on the windows that slide side to side can be removed by lifting the screen and pull out by the bottom. On the windows that lift vertically, the screen has to be pushed to one side or the other against the pressure springs, then tilt the opposite side out.
