Upgrading vent fan.

Just FYI for those of you who may be wanting to tackle this job. I recently purchased a Shurflo Platinum remote variable speed vent fan with rain sensor to put in the vent in the bedroom of our 2009 Sundance 2997BHS. It really wasn't that bad a job. I used a plastic putty knife to take off the old putty and removed the old vent. The biggest challenge was finding the power. I called the dealer and Heartland, but neither knew what color wires I should be looking for. I found a thermostat wire which is used for a second A/C install. I found a black/white wire that turned out to be the light switch. I then found a yellow/white wire that turned out to be a constant hot 12V source. I tapped into it and it works great. I like the fan so much, I ordered another one for the main living area.

That is great and timely information. I have a fan for the bedroom I haven't installed yet and was wondering about finding the 12 Volts. Now I know what color of wires to look for. Thanks!
