Shower Floor

I'm starting to feel the shower floor give when I'm taking a shower. It feels like the floor is flexing under me. My wife has also noticed it. Has anybody else noticed this in their shower?

When I toured the factory, they showed us how the shower floor was supported with plywood and was very solid. My shower floor feels solid but it slopes away from the drain enough to leave water in the unit. I have to soak it up with a sponge or squeegee it toward the drain.

I called Heartland and they told me that it is normal to feel some give under the shower. They said it's solid for 4 inches around the drain and beyond that it can give somewhat. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and give them another call if it gets worse

Check to see if the magnetic strip is in place on the door edge. That is what holds it shut, unless traveling than it is locked.
