External FM Antenna

I have a BC 3250 TS which did not come with an external radio antenna. How can I have or get one installed so the radio can pick up stations better?

Kevin, Depending on the type of connection you need for FM, you may be able to put a splitter on the coax coming into the TV cabinet and use the signal from the rooftop antenna to receive FM stations. You may have to shop Radio Shack for an adapter. Some of us have had good results with that.

Thanks for the info Ray, I didn't think about that. The hookup for radio is just one wire that plugs into the back of the "coby" system. I will have to give that a try.

The connector on the Coby is a Euro style TV connector. Radio Shack sells an adapter for this plug which mates with a standard F connector. I use a two set coupler and short lengths of RG 6 connected to the roof antenna TV jack.
