Lower drain line question

We are newbies to the RV world so this is probably a dumb question. We have a 2017 RG28 Pioneer Toy Hauler and it has 3 lower drain lines under the entry side by the main entry door. Which drains drain what and when do we use them?
Also, the dealer filled the fresh water tank for our walk thru and it is going to be several weeks before we can go camping. Do we need to empty the tank or is it ok to keep water in it this long?
Thanks for any help.

Hi CAT-PAT,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

Most likely they are drains for the fresh water tank and a low point drains for the hot and cold water lines. But hopefully some of our other members will jump in with better info for you. The dealer should have explained all this to you during the PDI.

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum and your new unit.

Your dealer should have filled your tanks to test them for leaks. All tanks should have been filled, checked, and then emptied. The was done by our dealer as well. Cannot tell you about your drains since we do not have the same rig. If your fresh water tank is still full, I would empty it along with the water heater an then purify the entire water system. After that if it is only going to be a few weeks to a month before going out again, you can leave it full. If it is going to be longer drain the tank and the water heater. Purify the fresh water system once a year.
