I cannot believe I did that

I was working on the Sundance replacing lights with LED's and decided to jump in the truck to check something else which was not related. Now when I think back about it I should have waited till I took all the tools out of my pockets.

Don't know if I can count this as a mod but it's costing me $300 to fix! &#55357;&#56877;

Looks like an electricians service van. I know a guy who did that a few times.
Sucks it was your own truck though. Isn't there a leather repair glue? Or maybe a apolstry shop?

It's pretty easy to do. I have jumped in the truck several times forgetting I had something (usually a screwdriver) in my back pocket. Fortunately, I've been lucky and not punctured the seat (yet).

I thought the same but with the lumbar bag being there a patch probably won't work for long. Just think I need to have the seat repaired professionally so headed to leather specialist next week. That ruined the rest of my day for sure and most of the next. I was beyond being upset!!

I'm just glad the screwdriver didn't poke the lumbar bag.

Does comprehensive insurance coverage cover that? Or would the deductible portion eat up any savings?

Hey, my friend at Red Neck Seat Repairs, said it's almost the same color, just use duct tape!!!

I did that the other day, lucky I did not puncture it, but I did scratch it. Take the opportunity to install some "Fine Corinthian leather," and call it a mod. Lucky I did not do it on the 2017 RAM.

What are the H and torque specs on the 2017 HO? OH, looks like they left it at 385/900. SNOKING

Consider these folks, we used them to replace covers on our GMC truck. Looked like straight from the factory!

Not sure how hard it would be to replace. I know the lowers are fairly easy. Not sure about the backs. They only listed up to 2014. Not sure how different the 2015s are. Maybe check a junk yard? Might find a whole seat from a low miliage truck?

Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions. I ended up having to do the repair quicker than expected so I just decided to go with the dealership. It's just just like new and even though pricey end result helped take away the bite.
