ATF: Mallard - Camper steps

Strange question; is anyone else struggling with the hieght of the first (bottom) step on both camper doors? We have the Mallard M32 and it isn't our first camper, it is, however, the first one that we have consistently struggled with the step hieght; regardless if the sight is level. We solved the problem with two 'jazzersize' steps (one for each door), but we are curious as to what others do.

Hi Steve.Twoknee,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There's a great bunch of friendly and helpful people here so I expect another Mallard owner will give you some feedback shortly.

We will second the Glow steps. We have had ours since June and love them. Like the fact that you can adjust them and the fact the first step is lower. We were able to add another step which has helped out also.

Enjoy your Mallard.

We also have the Glow Steps. Could be happier with them. Sorry it is upside down. The steps feet adjust as well as the top. The Top has three positions, but we have only used the top two. The second position twice because of a steep drop-off at the campsites.

Are they easier to install when the trailer is upside down?
